Mara is doing very well with settling in! We also have renamed her to Josie (or Jo for short). At first she was very timid and shy, she liked to stay in the room we originally placed her in. But with time she’s come out of her shell and has been chitchatting with us! We have another cat named Benny (breadstick) who we picked up from the humane society last August, and he has been super friendly and patient with her. I think that’s helped made her feel more comfortable with a buddy to show her around! Overall she’s going great, loves treats and toys, as well as watching cars drive by while lounging on our cat tree!
