Volunteer
Are you interested in getting involved in the community? Do you want to work with animals, help in an office or apply a special skill to our organization?
The KHS invites you to become involved and support the animals of our community. We have a number of volunteer options you can choose from, or you can tell us your interest and we’ll help you make a difference in the lives of our animals.
The KHS volunteer program is under construction! We are revamping our program to provide more specialized training and orientations to better meet the needs of our animals, volunteers, community and the shelter. Please keep an eye on our website for updated details! In the meantime, interested folks are welcome to complete and submit a volunteer application. If you are particularly interested in helping with fundraising or special events let us know as we have an ongoing need for this support. For fundraising and events support volunteer inquiries, please call the shelter and ask for Lindsay or email volunteer@kingstonhumanesociety.ca. Thank you for your patience and for thinking about the animals in our community!
