The Kingston Humane Society would like to thank the members of the community who have applied to become volunteers and have offered their time to assist the animals in our care. We have received a number of inquiries as to when we will be scheduling orientation sessions. At the present time, the new volunteer coordinator is busy developing a volunteer program that addresses the needs of the animals and the shelter and will be scheduling orientation sessions in the near future.
Dates for orientation sessions will be posted on the website. Please check back often.
Step 1: Complete a Volunteer Application Form
Please download and complete our volunteer application. Each person applying for volunteering must complete a separate application. This includes children or minors volunteering with a parent or guardian. Anyone under the age of 18 years must have a consent form signed by a parent or guardian. Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while volunteering.
Applications can be emailed, faxed, mailed, or dropped off at our office on Binnington Court. Applications must be received in our office before we can schedule an orientation session for you.
Our Most Popular Volunteer Opportunities.
