My name is Meaghan and I have a wee tiny love story to tell.

It was February 14th, 2007 when I found my Romeo. I thought I was going to get a new kitten but something about that tuxedo looking diva just sticks. I remember that he was from a family of about 20 and all his brother and sisters were rescued too. Romeo had a chunk missing out of his ear and was in pretty rough shape. However, I just opened his kennel door, sat on the ground and watched how an innocent animal slowly made his way into my arms and then around me neck. We were, and are, a match made in history.

Romeo is the most unique cat I have ever met, and everyone that comes into contact with him completely agrees. When you walk in a room, he sits on his back legs stretched out calling for you to pick him up. Hugs are a daily ritual in our regular routine.

Romeo also loves to take showers. He loves to sit under water and groom himself like the true diva he is (A Romeo must always look good for company).

I could go on about so many great qualities that my Romeo possesses, nevertheless, the message I really wanted to deliver was that Romeo has been the best addition in my life.

There is something to be said about human emotion and a cats capability to love and nurture like nothing else. My life is complete now that I have my Romeo in it and everyday when he steps up for a hug, I know he feels the same way.

To the Humane Society, I want to thank you for saving the lives of countless animals. Giving a second chance was all Romeo needed and I encourage anyone to do the same for another. There is a lot of love in the world, and there are equal amounts of animals that wish to receive it.

And heck, Romeo was the best man money could buy..........hee hee.....just kidding :)
